CognixCore was founded by Thomas and Øyvind — two Norwegians who got tired of supplement marketing that reads like science fiction. We buy every product with our own money, test it for a minimum of 30 days, and publish what we actually find.
Thomas — Co-founder & Editor
Former electrician and house builder. Thomas spent 12 years working with his hands before discovering that the brain is the most important tool on any job site. After experimenting with nootropics to manage the cognitive demands of running construction projects, he dove deep into the science of cognitive enhancement.
Thomas personally tests every protocol CognixCore recommends. He wears an Oura Ring 24/7, tracks HRV religiously, and runs structured cognitive assessments using Cambridge Brain Sciences. When he says a supplement works, he has the data to back it up — and when it doesn't, he says that too.
Øyvind — Co-founder & Research
Former insurance and debt management professional. Øyvind spent years analyzing risk — and realized the biggest risk most people ignore is cognitive decline. His background in evaluating claims, reading fine print, and detecting misleading marketing makes him the perfect person to review nootropic supplement labels.
Øyvind handles the research side: reviewing clinical studies, verifying dosages against the literature, and calling out products that use proprietary blends to hide underdosed ingredients. His motto: if a company won't tell you what's in the bottle, they have something to hide.
